Floral frames are shaped foam forms on backing trays, made for tribute and funeral work where a standard block would need carving by hand. The tray is what matters as much as the shape: it holds the foam securely, retains water through a service and the journey either side of it, and gives a flat stable base that will not break up when the piece is carried and positioned.
Shapes run from hearts, cushions and crosses through to letters, numbers and the novelty forms families increasingly request. Soak by floating on deep water until the foam sinks under its own weight, around a minute, and never force it under. Funeral work carries no margin for a failed mechanic.
